On October 3, 2024, 5.11, Inc. (“5.11”) reported a cybersecurity incident (“Data Breach”) to the Attorneys General of Maine and California. 5.11 reported that in August 2024 it discovered suspicious activity on its computer network. A subsequent investigation found that between July 12, and August 22, 2024, an unauthorized user had accessed and viewed payment card information of customers who had purchased products through 5.11’s online store.

On or about October 3, 2024, 5.11 began sending out data breach notification letters to those affected by the Data Breach. Each notification letter includes complimentary access to credit restoration assistance through IDX.

According to 5.11’s report, approximately 27,742 individuals were impacted by the Data Breach. 5.11 identified that the compromised data was related to payment card information of its customers. If you received a data breach notification letter from 5.11, it indicates that you were affected by the Data Breach.
