On or around December 12, 2024, MedRevenu, LLC (“MedRevenu”) experienced a network disruption that impacted its network environment. Upon learning of the incident, MedRevenu immediately took steps to secure the network and engaged cybersecurity experts to conduct an investigation.
Following the investigation, MedRevenu determined that certain files may have been acquired without authorization. After extensive electronic discovery, which concluded on or about October 21, 2025, MedRevenu determined that personal information belonging to certain individuals was present in the impacted data set.
On or about February 3, 2026, MedRevenu began mailing formal notification letters to affected individuals and started offering complimentary single bureau credit monitoring, credit reporting, and credit score services for 12 months, along with proactive fraud assistance services provided by TransUnion.
MedRevenu is a California-based company specializing in comprehensive revenue cycle management and medical billing services for physician practices.
The impacted data may relate to current or former patients of Inland Physicians Hospitalist Services whose information was maintained within MedRevenu’s network environment.
Following the incident, MedRevenu reviewed technical safeguards and implemented additional measures to enhance the security of its network and reduce the risk of a similar incident occurring in the future.
