Upon learning of the incident, Bayou Media immediately took steps to investigate the activity and remediate the issue.

On or about January 20, 2026, Bayou Media began mailing formal notification letters to affected individuals and started offering complimentary single bureau credit monitoring, credit reporting, and credit score services for 12 months, along with proactive fraud assistance services provided by Cyberscout, a TransUnion company.
