On or about July 22, 2025, Healthcare Interactive, Inc. (“HCIactive”) detected suspicious activity on its computer network. An investigation revealed that between July 8 and July 12, 2025, an unauthorized actor copied certain files containing sensitive information. HCIactive immediately secured its systems, engaged cybersecurity experts, notified federal law enforcement, and began notifying affected individuals on December 3, 2025. At this time, there is no evidence of misuse or attempted misuse of the impacted information.
The company is offering 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company specializing in fraud assistance and remediation.
HCIactive provides administrative services to healthcare organizations and is headquartered in Ellicott City, Maryland.
Following the breach, HCIactive strengthened its security protocols and continues to monitor its systems.
