On or around October 31, 2025, Oglethorpe Inc. (“Oglethorpe”) issued a data breach notification following a cybersecurity incident that occurred in June 2025. The organization experienced a cyberattack from an unauthorized third party that rendered its systems and servers inoperable for a limited time. Upon discovering the incident, Oglethorpe engaged third-party cybersecurity experts to investigate, contain, and remediate the breach. Law enforcement was also notified.
