On or about February 27, 2025, Clawson Honda of Fresno (“Clawson”) detected suspicious activity within its information technology (IT) network. Upon discovering the issue, Clawson immediately launched an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the incident and to secure its systems.

Following its investigation, Clawson determined that certain files within its network environment may have been accessed or copied without authorization between February 27, 2025, and February 28, 2025. Afterward, Clawson conducted a detailed and time‑intensive review of the potentially affected files to identify what information may have been involved and which individuals were impacted.

On or about January 21, 2026, Clawson began issuing written notification letters to affected individuals and started offering complimentary Experian IdentityWorks credit monitoring and identity restoration services for a designated period at no cost to recipients.

Clawson Honda of Fresno is an automotive dealership serving customers in Central Valley, California since 1976.

The compromised information may relate to individuals who had dealings with the dealership, including customers.

Following the incident, Clawson indicated it is reviewing its existing policies and procedures and implementing additional security measures aimed at protecting sensitive information and reducing the risk of future incidents.
