On or about November 27, 2024, Keesal, Young & Logan reported a significant cybersecurity incident (the “Data Breach”) to the California Attorney General’s Office. The Data Breach occurred when an unauthorized actor gained access to KYL’s computer systems between June 7, 2024 and June 13, 2024. KYL investigated the event, contacted law enforcement, and engaged third-party forensic specialists to determine the nature and scope of the breach. Approximately 316,350 individuals were affected.
KYL sent data breach notification letters to those impacted and offered complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through IDX for 12 to 24 months. If you received a Data Breach notification letter from KYL, it confirms that your information was potentially compromised.
