On July 27, 2025, MAS Law became aware of a potential issue involving its information systems. According to the Notice of Data Breach, the firm immediately took steps to secure its systems and launched an investigation with the assistance of a third-party forensic team.
The investigation determined that an unauthorized party accessed certain systems between July 13, 2025, and July 28, 2025. After a comprehensive review, MAS Law concluded on April 20, 2026, that sensitive personal information belonging to certain individuals may have been impacted.
Due to the time required to analyze the affected data and identify impacted individuals, notification letters were issued after the review was completed. MAS Law also notified law enforcement and relevant regulators and implemented additional technical safeguards to strengthen its systems.
