A Texas manufacturer has confirmed that hackers accessed Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and other personal information for hundreds of people, and almost nothing else about the incident has been made public.
MPS Enterprises, Inc., a Midland, Texas-based fabricated metal products manufacturer, filed a data breach notice with the Texas Attorney General, published July 31, 2026, confirming 481 Texas residents affected. Notice was provided to consumers by U.S. mail.
Beyond the Texas Attorney General filing itself, there is very little public information about this incident. No breach date, discovery date, or explanation of how the intrusion happened has been disclosed, and no other state filing or news coverage has surfaced.
