On or about April 14, 2026, Carnival Corporation (the “Company”) identified unauthorized activity involving an employee account. According to the Notice of Cybersecurity Event, the incident occurred after an unauthorized actor used social engineering tactics to deceive an employee and gain access to a limited portion of the Company’s IT systems.
The Company acted promptly to block the unauthorized access and launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party security experts. On April 22, 2026, Carnival Corporation determined that the unauthorized actor had copied certain personal information from its systems.
Following the incident, the Company implemented additional safeguards and enhanced monitoring controls to strengthen its cybersecurity posture and help prevent similar events in the future.
Carnival Corporation is a global cruise company and the parent organization of Carnival Cruise Line, serving millions of passengers worldwide through its portfolio of cruise brands.
Carnival Corporation has stated that it is not aware of misuse of personal information at this time. However, the investigation confirmed that unauthorized access to and copying of certain personal information did occur.

As part of its response, Carnival Corporation is offering affected individuals 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and fraud assistance services through TransUnion (via Cyberscout), provided individuals enroll by August 31, 2026.
