On February 10, 2026, Jeff Anderson & Associates PA (“JAA”) issued Notice of Data Event letters to individuals whose personal information may have been affected by a cybersecurity incident. According to the notice, JAA detected suspicious activity involving portions of its computer systems in September 2025. The firm later learned that this event was part of a broader cybersecurity issue impacting thousands of organizations using the same firewall technology. An investigation revealed that on September 18, 2025, an unauthorized actor gained access to certain systems and copied data.

Upon discovering the incident, JAA immediately engaged leading third‑party cybersecurity specialists to investigate the nature and scope of the breach and determine what information had been accessed. The firm then conducted a comprehensive data review, which concluded on December 8, 2025. After confirming the individuals impacted, JAA began issuing written notifications.

Jeff Anderson & Associates PA is a national law firm that routinely handles sensitive personal information in connection with litigation and professional legal services. The cybersecurity incident involved unauthorized access by an external actor, including the copying of data from certain firm systems. At this time, JAA reports no evidence that any affected information has been made public or misused and states it has no reason to believe the incident will impact any ongoing legal cases.

Following the incident, JAA reported that it has invested in additional security measures, engaged in ongoing cybersecurity vulnerability testing, and notified law enforcement. Impacted individuals are being offered 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Experian IdentityWorks, including access to identity restoration specialists and identity theft insurance.
