On or around July 11, 2025, Wedbush Securities Inc. (“Wedbush”) discovered that one of its web-facing internal applications was misconfigured, making unauthorized access possible. The company immediately secured the application, launched an investigation, and engaged data privacy specialists to determine the scope of the incident. The review revealed that unauthorized actors may have accessed certain client data between May 17, 2025, and July 11, 2025. On August 28, 2025, Wedbush confirmed that some personal information was involved.

While there is no evidence of misuse, Wedbush is notifying affected individuals and offering complimentary credit monitoring and fraud assistance services for 12 months through Cyberscout (a TransUnion company).
